Caltrack is a Calorie counter and health tracking app for Indian diets. Track calories, workouts, weight, water, sleep and steps with an exercise library and evidence-based blog.
I built Caltrack because I personally found health tracking too much work.
Most apps either ask you to manually enter every food item, or they focus only on calories and miss the bigger picture. But in real life, fitness is not just one number. It is food, workouts, water, steps, consistency, and knowing what you are actually doing every day.
So the idea was simple: make tracking feel less like homework.
With Caltrack, you can upload a food photo or type what you ate in normal language, and it breaks it down into calories and macros. You can also log workouts, track water, steps, body progress, and see which muscle groups you have trained through a body map.
The product started as a small personal tool to fix my own routine, but while building it, I realized the real problem was friction. People do not fail because they do not care. They fail because tracking becomes annoying after a few days.
So the approach evolved from “build a calorie tracker” to “build one simple place where your health effort becomes visible.”
