Calorie Dintis is a clean, privacy-focused AI calorie tracker. Snap a photo of your dish, and the app instantly extracts accurate macros and logs them into your diary. Under the hood: frontend on Netlify with fluid Dark/Light themes, and secure cloud microservices (Netlify Functions) that proxy AI requests and verify PRO access via Monobank webhooks (HMAC validation). No corporate tracking — all diary data stays on your local storage.

Hi Product Hunt community! 👋 I'm the independent developer behind Calorie Dintis. I built this app because I wanted a frictionless, visually clean, and highly secure tool to manage daily nutrition without spending hours typing ingredients manually. By deploying the core AI stack with native Vision support via secure serverless cloud functions, I managed to keep the app ultra-fast while ensuring your premium access is entirely verified on the backend. Your diary privacy is my priority, so everything stays directly on your device's local storage. I'm live today to answer any questions about the serverless architecture, the UI, or the AI engine. Try out the 1-Day Free Trial and let me know your brutal feedback! Thanks for the support! 🚀

Hey Product Hunt!

I am the solo full-stack developer behind Calorie Dintis. Building this entire ecosystem completely from scratch in just 6 days between power blackouts and sirens here in Ukraine has been my ultimate challenge to stay focused and create a highly optimized commercial asset.

You can try the web version right now here: https://calorie-dintis-app.netlify.app

I absolutely hate traditional calorie trackers where you have to type every single ingredient manually. That is why I connected advanced neural network APIs to build a legitimate multimodal AI Nutrition Agent that works effortlessly across web and messaging platforms. The launch includes a fully working Telegram Bot companion, which you can test directly by searching for @cal_dintis_bot in the messenger. It runs the Mini App smoothly inside Telegram.

What makes Calorie Dintis unique:

Instant Photo Scan: Snap a picture of your plate, and the serverless backend extracts exact calories, protein, carbs, and fats.

Natural Voice and Text Conversation: Just type or send a voice note saying what you ate, and the AI parses and logs it behind the scenes.

Pure Serverless Architecture: Built as a highly optimized, state-free ecosystem utilizing localStorage for strict user privacy. This completely eliminates database hosting costs and server latency!

Telegram Companion: A highly optimized Telegram Bot and Mini App helper that opens to full height with native theme matching and operates flawlessly even with low-bandwidth connections.

Last-minute engineering updates I pushed tonight:

  1. Fixed local parsing for multi-ingredients, meaning 2 eggs and 100g rice now calculates perfectly without regional language bugs.

  2. Added robust offline estimation for non-PRO international users, so 3 oz salmon or 1 banana parse instantly without API calls.

  3. Optimized serverless execution by restricting LLM wait times to 9 seconds to completely avoid Netlify 10-second hard timeout, replacing generic errors with smart user alerts.

  4. Smart Rate Limiting by scaling request limits from 30 to 120 per hour per user, fixing header tracking so global traffic will not accidentally trigger security blocks.

  5. Infrastructure Protection by pushing a custom background HTTP binding to the Python Telegram microservice, keeping the long-polling architecture alive 24/7 on free-tier containers with zero downtime.

Acquisition Note: I wanted to test this live with the global community, but managing live API costs and international marketing out of pocket is tough in my current personal situation. I want to pass this high-quality asset to an entrepreneur or marketer who can scale it. The entire project including full clean source code, decoupled serverless functions, Telegram bot microservice, and full IP rights is officially listed for a quick buyout on Microns!

I would love to get your honest feedback on the parsing speed, UI/UX, and accuracy. Thank you so much for your support and standing with me today!
