Calnode is a self-hostable Calendly + Zoom alternative - one Go binary + SQLite. Book meetings and host video calls, AI-native, with recordings in your own bucket. Own your data, not a subscription. Apache-2.0, ~30¢/month, and small enough to audit yourself.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built Calnode because self-hosted schedulers had gotten heavy -Postgres, Redis, a Node monorepo — just to book a call. Calnode is one static Go binary + SQLite. Drop it on a $5 box (ours runs ~30¢/month) and you've got booking pages, Google/M365/CalDAV sync, an API, an MCP server for AI agents, and optional AI "book by chat" with your own LLM. The part I'm proudest of: Calnode Rooms, built-in video that runs on your own LiveKit with recordings written to your S3 bucket and a self-serve audit kit so you can verify every security claim yourself instead of trusting a report. It's Apache-2.0 and nothing's paywalled. Self-host is the product; a managed-hosting option is on the waitlist. Would love your feedback. I'm here all day. ▶️ Try it live (no signup): https://demo.calnode.com 🔗 https://calnode.com 🔗 https://github.com/Calnode/calnode

I'm using CalNode and love the many features Wynne added into it. It's lightweight and can replace what Calendly can do, while being flexible to also change in ways you want. Wynne is also pretty open to feature requests to make it work better. I suggest you test this out to see how it works for you and your team right 'out of the box' and then know you can customize it since you have access to the code and to Wynne.

Onboarding is really smooth.

What I LIKE the most is that you can self-host the entire meeting from the booking, the video call, and the recording.

...That opens up a ton of possibilities for agentic workflows with my second brain (obsidian) and CRM.

Initial thoughts: Great product & clean UX. I look forward using it!

Love that it ships as a single Go binary with SQLite built in, makes spinning up my own instance painless. The ~30 cents a month running cost is genuinely wild for something that handles scheduling and video calls.

I've been waiting for exactly this for so long. I took a look at the code and this is extremely well engineered and looking forward to getting it spun up today. A huge thank you from all of us suffering with paying for calendly and zoom, great work

Spun it up locally and was surprised the whole thing fits in a single Go binary. Booking flow works smoothly and I love that recordings just dump straight to my own bucket.

finally a self-hostable alternative that actually fits in one binary, set it up on a vps yesterday and was booking meetings within minutes. love that the recordings stay in my own bucket
