I built Callmode because I’ve always felt awkward talking to my phone while recording in public. Being on a video call feels completely normal, so I wondered: what if the screen looked like a call, but the saved video was just the clean camera footage?
That started as a simple idea and turned into Callmode. It now has custom callers, a teleprompter, camera switching, external mic support, and 4K recording.
I’d love feedback, especially from anyone who creates content but hates filming themselves around other people.
