Hi Product Hunt ☄️

I built Cadence because I had nine apps doing this job and none of them knew the others existed. Notes in one, habits in another, a third for the trip I was planning. Nine search boxes, and nine backups I never actually made.

Cadence is one app with 30 trackers on a single store: notes, habits, a planner, your calendar, journal, trips, recipes, workouts, finances. You switch them on and off from a Library screen, so you decide how much app you want. Ten ship switched on. Most people settle on about five.

Nothing leaves your device. No account, no sign-up, no email address. No analytics either, and no third-party SDKs. It isn't that I anonymise your data. There's nowhere to send it.

Which brings me to the thing I'd rather say here than have you find in the App Store listing: iCloud sync costs $14.99, once. Everything else is free forever on one device, including the full export. Sync is the only thing I charge for, and it's one payment instead of a subscription, because the syncing is Apple's infrastructure and Cadence isn't a service. Charging you monthly would be renting you your own notes.

Some things I think I got right:

Habit streaks count from the day you started rather than from January 1st. Begin something in March and it doesn't open at 12% because it divided by a whole year.
Notes link to everything. Type # and a name to link a trip, a recipe or a project, and the link stays live.
You can export the lot to one file whenever you want and read it back in. Restoring adds what's missing and never deletes what you have.

I'm around all day. Ask me anything, especially the awkward questions about the price.

Who hunted Cadence?

Cadence was hunted by Karakabakov. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
