A few months ago, I broke my finger. For most people, that's an inconvenience. For me, it meant I couldn't golf or caddie. Golf has always been more than a game to me. I've spent years around golfers, studying how experienced caddies think. The biggest realization wasn't about swing mechanics. It was that most golfers lose strokes because of poor decisions, not poor swings. Sitting on the sidelines, I decided to build instead of waiting to heal. Together with my technology partner, Polsia, we created Caddie Ching, an AI caddie designed to help golfers make smarter decisions before every shot. Instead of replacing the golfer, it acts like the thoughtful caddie standing beside you, helping you think through club selection, course management, risk, and strategy. Along the way, the vision evolved. What started as an AI chatbot became something bigger: a decision intelligence platform for golf. The inspiration comes from the I Ching, not as fortune telling, but as one of history's oldest frameworks for thoughtful decision making. Golf rewards good judgment, and that's what we're trying to improve. We're just getting started, and I'd genuinely love your feedback. What would make an AI caddie indispensable to your game?
