I’m Yugeshkaran, the founder of Bytes Base.
Bytes Base is an AI assisted tech community platform for academic institutes.
I started Bytes Base after noticing a recurring problem in academic institutions: there are plenty of talented student developers, but their knowledge, projects and interactions often remain limited to classrooms, clubs, or short-term event.
I wanted to build something specifically around the developer ecosystem inside an institution, where students, faculty and alumni can connect, share technical knowledge, publish projects and findings, participate in discussions, discover learning resources, and build communities around technical domains.
Bytes Base also introduces gamified contribution and recognition, with overall and community-level leaderboards to encourage students to actively contribute and participate in their technical communities.
This is still an early journey, and I’m launching on Product Hunt to learn from developers, educators, students and community builders.
