I'm Berat, the maker behind Butcem. 👋
I built this app because every budget app I tried treated money like a
single number — but my actual financial life looked like 6 browser tabs:
one for subscriptions I forgot to cancel, one for a loan repayment plan,
one for a savings goal, one for the warranty PDF of a fridge I bought
two years ago, and a spreadsheet trying to make sense of all of it.
So I started building Butcem for myself. The goals were simple:
1. Put everything that touches my money into ONE place
2. Let an AI do the boring "where did it all go?" analysis for me
3. Make it work offline — because I always log coffee on the subway
4. Never let me forget a warranty expiry or a recurring charge again
A few things I'm genuinely proud of:
→ The AI doesn't just summarize. It gives you a Financial Health Score,
forecasts your next 30 days of cash-flow, audits which subscriptions
you're quietly wasting money on, and suggests a debt payoff strategy.
→ Warranty tracking. I have not seen this in any other budget app, and
it has personally saved me twice already.
→ 12 charts + a one-tap PDF report you can actually send to your
accountant or partner.
→ Fully offline-first with a sync queue. The app never blocks you.
Butcem is built with Flutter + Supabase, ships in English and Turkish,
and supports multiple accounts & currencies out of the box.
