Hey Product Hunt 👋 Three years ago, I launched the very first version of Buska quietly, on the side, while still employed (with a friend). It was a basic social listening tool: type a keyword, get mentions, see if people were talking about your brand. Useful. But not exciting. I always felt like the category was broken. Every tool in the space was built to tell you what people say about you. Nobody had flipped it: what if you could find people who need what you sell, before they ever heard of you? So I rebuilt everything from scratch. Not just the UI. The entire detection engine. The core model. The way we read a post and understand what's actually happening behind the words. We don't do keyword matching. We do intent detection. There's a massive difference between someone mentioning "social listening" and someone posting "I need a tool that catches buying signals on social, budget approved, any recommendations?" The first is noise. The second is a prospect with their hand raised. Buska finds the second one, scores it 0-100, matches it against your ICP, and puts it in your inbox. It took me 2.5 years of iteration, one failed launch, a 30% churn rate that forced me back to the drawing board, and one month of intense rebuilding to get to this. Since relaunching the detection core on June 1st, churn dropped to 8% and users are coming back 7x more often. I'm genuinely proud of what this has become. If you're in sales, growth, or run a B2B product, I'd love for you to try it and tell me what you think. Happy to answer every single comment today. Let's go 🚀

Comment highlights

the intent-detection pitch is clever, but the part that gives me pause is the Reply Studio step. someone posts a public complaint or a "does anyone know a tool for X" question, never talking to your company, and now a sales rep is dropping a contextual reply into that thread within seconds of the AI scoring them. genuine question, not a gotcha: have you had people react badly to that, like calling it out as "why is a bot replying to my post," and if so how do you coach customers on where the line is between responding to a public post and it feeling like you're being watched?

Interesting approach. Most tools I've used focus on tracking mentions, but finding people who are actually looking for a solution seems much more useful. Curious to see how the intent scoring performs in practice. Congrats on the launch! @tberguer
