Bumzy
A free pet health record, made in memory of my dog
Bumzy keeps your pet's medications, vet visits, breathing rate and weight in one place, free for everyone. Forever is a quiet place to remember a pet who has passed away. No account, no ads, no tracking, and AI Vet runs on your iPhone.
Bumzy was my dog. He was with me from 2013 to 2026, and he passed away this October.
I built Bumzy to keep track of his medications, his breathing and his vet visits. In his honour, the whole app is now free, forever. No subscription, no ads and no account.
What it does:
• Today shows which doses are due, with one tap for Given or Skip
• Charts put breathing rate, heart rate and weight next to the targets your vet sets, and make a report you can hand over at the next visit
• AI Vet answers general questions on your iPhone with Apple's on-device model, so nothing you ask leaves the phone
• Forever is a quiet place for a pet who has passed away: memories, photos, voice notes and a laugh jar
Your records stay on your phone and in your own iCloud. I never see them.

Who hunted Bumzy?
Bumzy was hunted by Anthony Stark. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
