As a student, I hate writing essays - especially when I have all the thoughts and ideas of what I wanna write about, but writing and articulating all the thoughts into a polished essay is tedious and tough.
After beening seen 300K+ views online on X/Twitter, I'm so excited to launch Bulletpen on Product Hunt.
Bulletpen is an AI app that helps you write while you yap. It's much more than just a simple dictation app. While it does capture your speech, it uses AI to transform your casual speaking into polished, well-structured written content.
The app analyzes your speech patterns and refines them into professional writing, complete with proper formatting and organization. You can even select different writing styles (like academic, storytelling, or technical) to match your needs.

great launch! Really wish this was open source, or more private with the ability to use my own api keys or run local text to speech processing models.
It's the perfect solution for students, writers, or anyone who writes down their ideas frequently. Very convenient and helps to work faster and more efficiently. I recommend it to anyone who wants to save time and improve their writing skills!

Loved this app, so simple and easy to use – good job, Rexan. Even as a native English speaker it is hard sometimes to get a jumble of thoughts out on paper. This app takes a lot of the friction out of the process of getting started.
I honestly love this. At first I thought "another AI Wrapper" but, this is soooo good. Props @rexanwong for crafting a tool that quickly captures rants into a coherent essay. I can really see myself using this.
Clever idea, @rexanwong! I've always been a fan of companies that lower the barrier of creation, particularly around sharing stories and ideas. This is why I was such a big fan of Medium when it launched.

Just yesterday I was using ChatGPT in a similar way, for creating documentation. Just me talking and ChatGPT getting the information in order from my thoughts. Very useful, but still it took me some time to get things in shape. I'll give a try to Bulletpen next time! And by the way, beautiful UI, I love it, very lean. What framework are you using for the text editor? looks gorgeous!
