Buki identifies the books in a picture you see online. One click on X, a right-click anywhere else, up to 20 books per photo. AI reads the cover, OpenLibrary checks it, and the book goes on a shelf in your browser. No account. Ten catches free.
Hi Product Hunt, I'm Maximo, and Buki is the first product I've shipped.
I kept seeing books in posts, saving the post, and never finding the book again. Buki is my fix. Click a picture with a book in it, and Buki names the book. Then you put it on one of four piles: Now, Next, Someday or Finished.
On X, a Buki button sits in every post's action bar. Anywhere else, right-click the picture. One photo can hold up to 20 books, and Buki lists each one. Every guess is checked against OpenLibrary, and nothing is saved until you pick a pile.
No account. Your shelf lives in your browser, and you can export it to Goodreads or StoryGraph.
Ten catches are free. Then $29 a year or $4 a month, or free with your own Google AI Studio key.
It's desktop Chrome only for now. I'd love to hear where it gets a book wrong, and what you'd want next.
