Hey everyone 👋
This is BugPic, a bug identifier app for iPhone.
Take a photo of any insect, and BugPic will tell you what it is, whether it bites or stings, where it lives, and what makes it interesting.
• Works with butterflies, moths, beetles, ants, spiders, and more
• Danger level, bite/sting info, fun facts
• No ads, no tracking, no login
• Clean and simple design

If you enjoy using it, a quick review on the App Store would really help us out.

🗓 BugPic will be completely free for life this Sunday, July 27.
Download it that day and it’s yours forever.

Would love to hear what weird bugs it helps you ID 🐜
Thanks for checking it out!

That's cool! I used to use one to identify plants, now I have one to identify bug

Hi! Interesting concept! Just out of curiosity, can´t Google Lens do the same? It's already installed on more than half of the world's mobile devices. Your app has the same look and feel, too.

This is awesome, Pablo & Raf! Love the clean design and focus on privacy—no ads, no tracking, just bug facts. Definitely downloading on the 27th. Can’t wait to see what weird backyard critters BugPic helps me identify. Great job!

Okay this is genius—finally something to tell me if that bug in my shower is gonna bite me or not lol. Realy love how fast it works!

So cool and so niche, love it.
Remind me of the HotDog app from Silicon Valley on HULU

No more googling “weird bug in my bathroom” pics—just snap and know instantly? That’s realy genius, tbh. Makers, you totally nailed it with this one!

Me and my son go bug hunting in the park every other weekend. We usually bring a guidebook, but this app might replace that. I like how it’s built with real curiosity and not just utility.

Snapping a pic and instantly knowing if that creepy bug in my bathroom bites? That's genius, fr. You folks read my mind—can't wait to try this!

Similar tool should be used for plants and mushrooms to prevent food poisoning.

P.S. This could be cool for pupils at secondary schools, kids in the summer camps etc. to educate them a little bit.
