I built Ledger because I was tired of downloading "budget templates" that were really just a to-do list disguised as a spreadsheet — you still had to build the whole system before you got any value from it.
Ledger is a single file. Open it, and it's already a working budget dashboard. No Notion database to configure, no formulas to accidentally delete. Set your category budgets, log your spending, and watch a savings goal tracker fill up like an old receipt tape as you save.
