Hey Product Hunters, 👋!
Over the last couple of years, every SEO has tried using AI tools for content generation. We tried it too. We even got some promising results... and then the Google Helpful Update came. Our experimental pages with AI content lost organic traffic. I've heard the same story countless times.
The head-on approach of creating texts for SEO with ChatGPT or similar tools works sometimes, but it's not a reliable long-term strategy. After more than a year of experiments and research, I found 3 key principles for efficiently using AI for text generation.
📚 We should use a lot of our own data to provide context.
🎯 We need to set very specific tasks for AI.
🧑💻 An expert should review the output before we use it.
Then I got the idea of an SEO tool for AI text generation that embodies these principles.
Content Vitaminizer doesn't try to create a whole article for SEO purposes. It's too complicated and risky (Google Updates clearly showed us the risks!). The tool serves another purpose: to boost existing pages as easily and reliably as possible.
How do we employ the 3 principles?
📚 For context, we take into account existing content on the page. It helps us refine the tone of voice, avoid repetitions, and make the generated text more original.
🎯 To set a clear task, we get queries from Google Search Console that your page already ranks for. Then we select those your page is not optimized for (hitchhiker keywords). They are very promising: if your page ranks without proper optimization, it will certainly rank better with more relevant content. Using hitchhiker keywords makes content both deeper and more optimized for search engines.
🧑💻 We aim to keep the generated text as short as possible to help you review it fast and easily.
What sites can benefit from this tool the most? Obviously, the sites with plenty of hitchhiker keywords. The more hitchhiker keywords, the more potential traffic.
That is why I believe Content Vitaminizer is immensely useful for startups and indie founders who create landing pages with marketing purposes and do little keyword research. It is also very useful for blogs and affiliate websites with a lot of text content. Big texts tend to have many hitchhiker keywords.
We see a lot of potential in this tool and have plenty of ideas to improve it. We started with a completely free version. So try it without any cost or obligations (just don't forget to sign up via a Google account with Google Search Console). I would love to hear your feedback!
