BubblePGP is a complete, offline PGP messenger in a single HTML file. End-to-end encrypted chat with no install, no servers, no accounts and no tracking.
Every "secure" messenger I tried asked me to trust something: a server, an account, a company's promise not to look. Even good PGP tools meant installing software, managing keyrings from a terminal, and reading words like ciphertext and verify before you could say hello. Encryption that's that hard to use isn't really encryption — most people just give up and go back to plaintext.
I wanted the opposite: something you could open, not install. So I put the entire thing — the UI, the styles, the OpenPGP library, all the app code — into a single HTML file. You double-click it. It runs offline, with no server and no network calls. You can keep it on a USB stick, email it to a friend, drop it in a shared drive. There's nothing to sign up for and nothing to trust except your own browser.
