Hi all! I've been using ChatGPT multiple times a day and got really annoyed at having to constantly switch tabs to access it.
I also wanted to get into building chrome plugins. So I decided to make a ChatGPT chrome plugin, that you can access directly from any browser window. I've found it really useful for my day to day work and figured that other people might find it a nice to have also!
Found the Open AI API really easy to use, and this whole thing took about 3 weekends to build. Most of the work was in building the frontend chat UI. Start with the lxieyang/chrome-extension-boilerplate-react github project to bootstrap everything.
It's totally free to use, and doesn't require authentication or sign up (or credit card, obviously) so give it a try!
