When testing existing screen-time apps, I ran into two big issues:
1. Hard-blocking the entire app prevented me from checking urgent DMs or communicating with friends.
2. Many apps require battery-draining VPN proxies or screen recording.
We built BrainPex from scratch with a different approach: Don't block the app - neutralize the doomscroll.
