BPM Finder for Runner helps runners build playlists by tempo instead of guesswork. Set a BPM range, filter by artist, and find tracks that match jogs, tempo runs, or intervals. It also supports double/half-time BPM matching, shows results clearly by BPM, and works with an offline database—no Spotify login or music account required.
Hi Product Hunt! I’m Tom, a solo iOS builder from Japan.
I built BPM Finder for Runner because making a running playlist is still more annoying than it should be. When I run, I often want songs around a specific tempo—for example something steady for a jog, faster for a tempo run, or punchy for intervals. But most music apps are organized around artists, genres, or recommendations, not “what BPM do I need right now?”
So I made a simple iPhone/iPad app focused on one job: finding songs by tempo.
What it does:
• Search by BPM range with a simple slider
• Filter results by artist
• Expand matches with double/half-time BPM
• Browse results by BPM
• Open external search for songs you want to listen to
• Works from an offline database, without Spotify login or account connection
It’s intentionally small and practical. I’d love feedback from runners, playlist makers, and anyone who chooses music based on movement or rhythm.
What would make this more useful for your running or workout playlist workflow?
