Hi PH! 👋 BountyHub is a platform that aims to monetize issue resolution on public GitHub repositories which is a more direct way to finance contributors than donations/sponsoring. 🚨THE PROBLEM🚨 Most github repositories have issues that remain open for a long time which is due to multiple reasons such as the lack of resources or prioritization, Most developers don't have the time to browse random repositories on github to attempt fixing repositories they don't use or issues that doesn't affect them directly. 💡THE SOLUTION💡 The solution is be to put prizes on github issues to incentivize open-source contributors to fix issues even if there not directly affected by the issue. This could also be a way for open source repositories to attract more contributors and for the repository maintainers to earn money contributing to their own repositories. 🎯WHY IT MATTERS🎯 Most if not all software companies rely on open source technologies to produce a better product, and sometimes these open source technologies might have bugs or missing featurs that can block the company's productivity. 🙏FEEDBACK🙏 We love feedback! This feels like a practical evolution of open source incentives. Turning issues into funded tasks creates a clearer path for both contributors and maintainers — especially helpful when bug reports pile up but time doesn't scale.

How are you handling dispute resolution or validation once a bounty is claimed? Curious how trust and QA are being managed here.

Definitely a space that needs more traction.

This is a great idea! Win-Win for both parties! This should have come before...or maybe i was not aware

Thanks @omar_soufiane for the work you and your team are doing with Bounty Hub. People have talked about bounties in the open-source community for decades.

Bounty Hub has responded to those prior half-hearted and over-complicated attempts with a platform that is streamlined and sensible in how it aligns incentives so that everyone benefits: users, companies and developers.

Now, companies can contribute back to the communities that are driving value for them, while doing so in an extremely cost-effective manner -- a rare win-win-win opportunity.

I have personally used BountyHub, and it appears to be a robust platform that facilitates not only the search process of open source bounties but also enables project owners to efficiently post bounties and connect with contributors. It appears to be highly beneficial for both parties, as it serves as a unified platform that connects everyone, simple and efficient!

Looks cool! I was going to ask what the differences were with Algora.io, but you have it right on your main page. Awesome! Also, I really like the crowdfunding aspect of the platform.
