I'm a WordPress plugin developer — and for years I was fascinated by Telegram but never had the time to do something serious with it.
Two years ago I finally started. I had seen similar projects before, but I was never happy with how they looked and felt. Telegram is powerful enough to display a real shopping experience natively — yet most solutions either had clunky interfaces or were just a wrapper around a regular website disguised as a Mini App. I wanted something that actually felt like Telegram.
I started in PHP, running logic server-side, but quickly realized it wasn't the right tool. I switched to Node.js and built two parallel projects: the WordPress plugin (which lives in your WooCommerce store) and the bot engine powered by TDLib — which is what makes everything feel fast and native.
The result is Botoscope. 🚀
Your WooCommerce products — simple, variable, grouped, digital, bookable — just appear in a Telegram bot. Variable products have individual prices per variation. Bookable services let each provider manage their own schedule. Product cards support both photos and videos, right inside the chat.
There's also a marketing extensions system where you can build discount rules with real logic — "if a customer buys 3 pairs of Nike sneakers in size 43, apply this discount." Black Friday campaigns, bulk pricing, custom triggers — all formula-based.
Multi-language and multi-currency support is built in, so the same bot works for an international audience out of the box.
One thing I'm personally proud of: a psychological engagement layer. The bot gives customers genuine compliments at key moments — it sounds small, but it's a deliberate nudge that keeps people in the flow instead of dropping off.
