The idea came from a problem I’ve personally faced many times: wanting to play a sport but not having anyone to play with, not knowing anyone in town, or traveling and not knowing where to find a game.
That's exactly why I started building Bora.
The app's main goal is to connect people through sports. Whether it's to make new friends, meet people who play the same sport, discover new places to play, or finally put together that group that's always short one player.
How it works is simple: anyone can create an event by selecting the sport, location, date, and time. This event then shows up in a feed for other users, who can join, chat with each other, and figure out all the details before meeting up.
