BookingCore is a free open-source booking system for small service businesses such as salons, spas, massage therapists, coaches, and consultants. It lets customers book appointments online and sends bookings directly to the owner’s calendar. No transactional emails, no complex admin workflow — just a lightweight booking layer designed to be simple, practical, and easy to self-host.

Top comment

I built BookingCore as a lightweight open-source booking system for small service businesses that don’t need complex scheduling software. The main idea is simple: customers book online, reservations go directly into the owner’s calendar, and the business owner does not need to constantly manage another admin panel. I wanted to keep it free, practical, and easy to self-host, while still giving small businesses a clean way to accept bookings online. I’d love to hear your feedback, especially from small business owners, freelancers, and developers interested in open-source tools.

Who hunted BookingCore?

BookingCore was hunted by Roman Kocian. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
