You can now turn any Figma design into a pixel-perfect full stack app. Simply select a frame and put bolt.new in front of the Figma URL to start building rapid prototypes and production-ready apps.
We're pretty excited to collaborate with the Anima folks on this release :) By combining the power of Bolt and Anima, you can now go from Figma design to fully functional, pixel-perfect app by just putting bolt.new in front of the Figma URL 🤯 It works like freakin' magic!
As always, we’d love to hear any feedback & questions you have, and we can’t wait to see what you build!
Man, that's amazing. I'm absolutely in love with bolt. Can't wait to test this new feature.
This sounds amazing! The ability to turn Figma designs into fully functional apps with just one click is a total game-changer for designers and developers alike. How seamless is the transition from design to functionality, and what kind of customizations can developers make once the app is generated?
@kate_trahan Its doesn't work ,too many import tries from my professional account project.
this is AMAZING! just tried it and my jaw literally dropped! you guys just saved me sooo much development time! i've been using other design-to-code tools before but this one is wayyy more intelligent (and actually works lol). love how i can just add "bolt.new" to any figma url and boom - working app! the pixel-perfect conversion is chef's kiss. got my 3 free conversions but already thinking about which plan to get because our team is definitely using this daily now. our design-dev handoffs used to be such a pain point but this might actually fix it?? 600+ upvotes is totally deserved! congrats to the bolt+anima team on this launch - you're making developers and designers everywhere very happy people! 🚀
Cool feature. I just tried it out. I can get one figma frame into a project. But I can't figure out how to get the next figma frames into the project so I can create a prototype. Does this handle only one Figma frame import per project right now?
wow~ I was planning to try Cursor+MCP for Figma this weekend, but I was surprised to see that Bolt has already implemented this effect. It is very amazing.
Here is a new idea: Import a UX document, then generate full user-flow prototype.
In my design, I will describe all the logics on interface, if AI can read them, and implement, there will be awesome.
Well done! BTW, I've noticed Figma always has cross-border collaborations, and the adaptability keeps their user base expanding!
This is game-changing! Transforming Figma designs into full stack apps just with a simple tweak is a huge time-saver. Kudos to the team for making prototyping so much easier! Can't wait to give it a try! 🚀
I recommend Bolt x Figma to anyone who works with app design and development! It's a truly revolutionary app that allows you to turn your Figma designs into fully production-ready apps with just one click. We will also launch soon, we hope for your support too!! Good luck to you!
Has anyone found a way to add more than one page from Figma into Bolt? Copying the URL and adding bolt.new/ to the URL creates a whole new project. The first import works fine but I can't work out a way to add the other screens to create a clickable prototype.
Other Question. Did someone know how to make a Good Login/SignIn ? I had really big Bugs with this. Thx 🤘
Hi @ericsimons40, I'm the co-founder and CEO at tely.ai. I designed our product in Figma and prototyped it using Bolt, and this launch means a lot to me. I have a couple of questions:
Is there any documentation available on how to integrate my design system (fonts, colors, styles, etc.)?
Can I connect multiple designs to create a comprehensive UX scenario?
Thanks!
This is perfect for product managers! Just listened to Lenny's podcast too. Congrats.
Generating an app by adding a prefix to the url is super cool! Nice DX!
Just a small suggestion: if I use the prefix to generate an app, but my account isn't connected to Figma, it would be better to trigger an authorization process first. After completing the authorization, the generation could automatically retry.
I think Bolt has far to go to save development time.
Congratulations on the bolt.new launch! This is exactly what the design-to-code workflow needed - brilliant collaboration with Anima. The URL trick is pure genius - simple yet powerful. Looking forward to incorporating this into my daily workflow and watching how it evolves. Great job to the entire team!
Huge congrats on this release! 🚀
The Figma-to-functional app workflow has always been a major pain point, and Bolt + Anima sounds like a powerful combo.
