Hi y'all - cofounder/CEO of StackBlitz (creators of bolt.new) here, excited to share what we've been up to on Product Hunt today! tldr: Imagine if AI dev products (Claude, v0, etc) let you install packages, run backends & edit code — that's bolt.new. And it's pretty darn slick: - Prompt, edit, run & deploy fullstack apps - Full dev env (npm, Vite, Next.js, …) w/ frontier AI - Free! You can read more about bolt.new in our announcement thread on X: x.com/stackblitz/status/... Additionally we've made the core components open source over at github.com/stackblitz/bolt.new for you to peruse, fork, etc 🙌 We've had a lot of folks in the community ask us to submit Bolt to PH who have been using the product the past few weeks, super excited for y'all to see what they've been building with it in the comments 🔥 Also can't wait to hear your thoughts on the product as well!! Let's go!

I love the user experience on Bolt! It's miles ahead of other similar products like v0

W O W! I've tried many tools like this, but they were pretty disappointing. I'm genuinely impressed by Bolt.new's capabilities! I just built an analyzer with your AI. It's working well but has a few quirks. For instance, I instructed it to flag pages with fewer than three CTA buttons as negative. Initially, it miscounted two as three, but after I corrected it, the new code worked great! Similarly, it gets the page speed almost correct, within a ±10-point range. I suggested using Google's speed tool for accuracy. A guide on crafting prompts would be super helpful! Overall, incredible product—I’m excited to keep using it. If you want to get notified as soon as I launch my first Product on PH, follow me, it we be built with bolt.new😂

You've done an amazing job! It sounds impossible to achieve this a few years before and, you did it guys! Congrats on the launch! Will follow up to see future update.

I recommend bolt.new for those who want to quickly create and launch fully functional web applications without having to write code manually. With bolt.new, you can simply create a request, see its execution in real time, debug errors as they occur, and deploy the finished application directly in the browser.

congrats on launch! Bolt is a great product.Bolt realize that code is base, give those who want to design an app but dont's skilled at programming a chance. However more guideline is needed, a start-up from 0-1 is significant

I so absolutely love this, I often send my teams front end developers direct prototypes because of this. I wish there was a way to convince the org to buy this, amazing tool

Thanks to Bolt.new I created my portfolio www.knowsami.com in just a weekend! It made bringing my ideas to life so much easier. Big thanks to the Bolt team for creating this product. Key lessons to save you some tokens based on my journey so far with bolt: 1. Start with requirements — use ChatGPT/Claude or write them down (be as descriptive as possible). 2. Customize the project based on your needs, then take a screenshot of the output. Feed it to ChatGPT and ask it to provide a prompt to fix the issue. 3.Troubleshoot by writing prompts for the AI coding agent to fix common issues: a). Image Not Loading: "Images on my portfolio aren't showing up. Please fix the image paths and ensure everything is properly linked." b). Page Not Loading: "Page not loading on certain browsers. Please identify and fix the issue for consistent performance across all browsers." c). Layout Issues: "Layout looks different on mobile compared to desktop. Please adjust the CSS to fix the layout for all devices." e). Responsiveness Problems: "The website is not responsive on mobile devices. Please update the code to ensure full responsiveness." f). Button/Link Not Working: "Some buttons and links are not functioning. Please fix them so they navigate correctly." g). Slow Load Times: "Website is slow to load. Please optimize resources for faster loading." h). Font/Icon Not Displaying: "Fonts and icons aren't displaying. Please fix so all load properly." i). Styling Issues: "Some CSS styles aren't being applied correctly. Please troubleshoot and fix." Like any creative skill, it takes time to get things right if you don't have a background, so be patient and see the magic. Looking forward to the updates—please give a raise to Dom! I watched the office hours and I'm really excited for the token optimization feature that's coming soon...! @ericsimons40 @kate_trahan dom, Sam's, Tomek and Joan.

I never imagined that I could make a complete app without knowing any programming. This creates a lot of opportunities.

For teams looking to release MVPs quickly, I can see this being a great benefit. Fantastic work.

Bolt is allowing me to build web apps at 10x the speed I would be able to without it (even if using other LLM tools.) It's really well done. The only things I'd request to change is that you restore the prompt in the textarea when we roll-back to a checkpoint (sometimes I want to add some clarification and re-try) and save the history of the chat when we re-open projects. I've had a couple of occasions where I had to refresh because the app froze up and my history and checkpoints were lost.

wow this is so amazing i already made a social media site like i've been planning on adding to my website i have now. Ive been waiting for something like this Kudos you some smart people cant wait to crank out some web apps

Love this! Works so much better than any other LLM I've tried to use to create a chrome extension. Got me to MVP in like 20 mins vs trying unsuccessfully for hours with ChatGPT and Gemini

1. Who would you characterize as your key personas? For instance, product folks looking to do a startup may be intrigued, but may not have the technical skills required to deploy, modify and maintain the codebase. 2. Do you plan to add native mobile support in the near future? This is something bubble has added that makes it somewhat compelling.
