We built Boboyka Voice one of our product under Boboyka platform, because every text-to-speech and speech-to-text API we tried as customers ourselves led with a monthly subscription or a seat-based plan, even when all we needed was to process a few thousand characters here and there.
Boboyka Voice is pay-as-you-go from the first request: $0.005 per 1,000 characters for TTS (41 voices, 7 languages), $0.003 per minute for STT (~99 languages, auto-detected). $2.99 to start, no subscription, no seats, deposits never expire.
It's built on our own database layer, SapixDB, which is also how we keep billing and auth simple enough that there's no "contact sales" step anywhere in the product.
