We’re launching BMI Tracker today - a small, free tool for calculating BMI and tracking BMI changes over time privately in your browser.
We built it because many BMI calculators feel cluttered, ask for unnecessary details, or show a number without enough context. Our goal is much simpler: help people get a quick BMI result, understand the category in plain language, and optionally keep a private history if they want to watch the trend over time.
What it does:
• Calculate BMI using metric or US units
• Show the adult BMI category clearly
• Save BMI entries locally in your own browser
• Add notes to entries
• Export your history as CSV
• Work without signup, email, or account creation
A clear note: BMI Tracker is not a medical app and does not diagnose anything. BMI is only a screening measure, so we keep the interpretation conservative and encourage people to speak with a healthcare provider for personal health questions.
We’re not trying to compete with big health platforms or promise anything huge. We made this as a simple community resource.
