Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built Blume because I kept ruining good coffee. I live in Indonesia, one of the biggest coffee-producing countries in the world. I could buy a beautiful 200g bag of Gayo or Toraja from a local roaster for the price of two lattes — and then completely waste it. Wrong grind, water too hot, pour too fast. Every bag was a fresh guess. The worst part was that I never learned anything. My "records" were three notes on my phone, a screenshot of someone's V60 recipe, and a vague memory that last Tuesday's cup was better. There was no way to answer the only question that matters: what did I do differently that time? So Blume is basically the notebook I never kept. A brewing timer that walks you through each stage, recipes that auto-load into it, grind presets for the grinder you actually own, a directory of local beans, and a logbook that remembers every brew so you can repeat the good ones on purpose. I'm still a home brewer, not a champion barista. I just got tired of great beans dying in my kitchen. Would love to hear how you brew — and what your notebook looks like 😄

Who hunted Blume?

Blume was hunted by Muh Ghazali Akbar. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
