I built Blume because I was tired of the "downloading tax." I’d often find myself downloading a 50GB folder from a client just to find one 10-second soundbite or a specific B-roll shot. It was a massive bottleneck that felt like it should have been solved years ago.
As a "vibe coder" with 0 backend knowledge, I used agentic tools to build what I actually needed: a way to search inside my cloud files as if they were local text documents.
