Like many side projects, BlueSky Driver started with a moment of frustration.
Every branding project followed the same pattern. The exciting part was creating the logo. Then the client approved it... and the next hour disappeared into exporting PNGs, creating monochrome versions, building favicons, organizing folders, writing a brand guide, and packaging everything into a ZIP.
None of that work made the design better. It was simply the administrative work that happens after the creative work is finished.
I built BlueSky Driver to eliminate that last hour.
What surprised me most was how much the product evolved. I started thinking I was building a logo asset generator. Through conversations with designers and a lot of iteration, I realized the real value wasn't generating files—it was letting designers feel like the project was actually finished the moment the logo was approved.
That insight changed everything. It influenced the product, the messaging, the illustrations, and even the onboarding.
BlueSky Driver is the first product in what I hope becomes a suite of tools that remove repetitive work from creative professionals so they can spend more time designing—and more time away from their computers when the workday is done.
