Bloque started as our own itch: a small team, lots of MCP servers, API keys scattered across everyone's laptop configs, and zero visibility into what our AI tools could touch.
Enterprise MCP gateways exist, but they assume you have an IT department, an identity provider, and budget for a sales cycle. Most teams under 50 people have none of those. That's who Bloque is for.
(Credit where due: Bloque started as a fork of the open-source Plugged.in. We kept the MCP management core, stripped everything else, and rebuilt it as a hosted gateway for teams.)
