Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built Blok because I was tired of juggling Discord for chatting and separate AI tools to actually get things done in those chats. So I combined them into one native desktop app — Discord-style servers, voice, video, screen share — plus an AI co-pilot (b.ai.t) that summarizes channels, runs polls, and translates right inside the chat.
There's also a gacha loot system — XP, quests, loot boxes for cosmetics like nameplates and avatar frames. Purely cosmetic, no pay-to-win.
Built with Tauri + Rust for the native voice/audio engine, Supabase on the backend. Getting low-latency voice with proper echo cancellation right in Rust was honestly the hardest part.
It's public beta, Windows-first for now - screen share and video are still experimental, being upfront about that. A voice bot that can join calls and play music is next on the roadmap.
