Hello fellow makers! > Problem: I wrote on dozens and dozens of virtual cards for birthdays, farewells, etc.., sent countless messages after an event, a team building, or time spent at a retreat or with communities at co-livings... Yet it never feels so authentic, messages get lost in the ether of WhatsApp conversations, and memories fade. > That's why we created Blissbox, a way to create a box for any occasion or people, share the link, and let everyone add their thoughts, emotions, appreciations, or kind words, and, if they like, take an instantaneous selfie or picture, taken on the spot (think of BeReal, but for your thoughts!). No AI here, (yet 😅), but empowering and enabling genuine sharing and memory collection with your family, friends, colleagues, community, anyone! You can create a blissful memory box to gather memories for your yoga retreat, a friend or family reunion or trip, your team building, your wedding, your friend's baby shower, your kid's school trip, your pet, dog, ANYTHING, we said. → With Blissbox: • Create and add a banner to your box • Share the link with everyone you like through Whatsapp, Telegram, Twitter, Messenger, X etc... • People can then post a message, pick their message color, and add a taken-on-the-spot photo to it • Messages can be read immediately or... • ...Keep the box sealed so all the messages will be blurred (and encrypted, no need to open your CSS Inspector here 😉) until you decide to open it and share it with your participants Whenever you like, unseal your box - where all the thoughts and moments are preserved - and let the memories surface again ✨🥹 PS: Again I'll write about my findings while building it if you're interested! Edit: thanks SO MUCH for the support everyone 🥰

I think this is such a beautiful ideas especially on special occasions when you want to collect and preserve the memories of what people share. I really wish you all the best with this and hope to use it very soon.

This is such a unique idea, @annedevj! I'm intrigued by the concept of a digital memory box, but how do you ensure the privacy of the messages shared? With so many people using various platforms, what measures are in place to keep everything secure and avoid potential data

Well done on bringing such a valuable concept to life. It offers a thoughtful solution for preserving and sharing genuine memories. Congratulations on launching a tool that fosters deeper connections and keeps cherished memories intact!

Wow, congratulations on launching your first project! 🎉 Blissbox is such a cool idea to keep those special moments alive. Wishing you lots of success, and I can't wait to see more products from you. Thanks for sharing! :)

The combination of curated items and surprise elements seems like a perfect way to add a little excitement to our lives. How do you decide which products to include in each box?

So we need another memory box to clutter our digital lives, sounds like a fun concept but let's be real, won't this just add another layer of digital noise and distraction? also, the whole no-AI thing, how sustainable will that be when everything's moving towards smart tech?

Just stumbled upon this through a random social media ad, can't shake the feeling it's trying too hard to be a must-have, do people really need another digital thing to keep track of memories, feels like overkill for something as simple as remembering moments.

Cool idea, but honestly, do we really need another app for this, people are already overwhelmed with so many platforms and keeping track of yet another one might just add to the chaos, maybe focus on integrating with existing apps instead of creating a whole new ecosystem

This new memory box seems super handy and personal, love how it's bringing back authenticity in digital sharing however maybe adding more customization options could make it even better, keep up the great work 🙌

So we're supposed to believe this will replace heartfelt handwritten notes I mean sure it sounds cool but what about people who aren't tech savvy or just prefer something more personal maybe add a feature for printing these out or even integrating with existing social media platforms curious to see if this goes beyond just another digital fad

Hey, cool idea for making memories last but isn’t it just another way to share stuff online, I wonder if there’s a way to make it more engaging for people who aren’t very tech-savvy, maybe integrate some way for people to print their messages or make a physical backup, also what happens if someone doesn’t want their picture taken but still wants to write a note, is there a way to skip the photo part? Just some thoughts to consider!

Hi @annedevj I am truly impressed by the innovative concept behind Blissbox. The challenge of preserving authentic memories in our fast-paced digital world is indeed significant, and your solution addresses this issue remarkably well. By allowing individuals to contribute their thoughts, emotions, and even spontaneous photographs, you have created a platform that not only fosters genuine connections but also serves as a beautiful keepsake for any occasion. The ability to curate these messages in a secure and visually appealing manner is commendable. I particularly appreciate the option to keep the box sealed until the moment of revelation, which adds an element of anticipation and surprise for all participants involved. This feature undoubtedly enhances the emotional value of the collected memories. Moreover, your commitment to empowering users without relying on artificial intelligence is refreshing. It emphasizes the importance of human connection and authenticity in memory sharing. I look forward to seeing how Blissbox evolves and impacts various communities, from family gatherings to professional team-building events. Thank you for sharing your insights on this project; I would be very interested in learning more about your findings throughout its development.

Nice idea but have you looked into how it's different from something like Keepster or StoryWorth, also seems like a lot of people might just stick to traditional scrapbook methods or even Instagram for creating memory collections, the instant selfie feature is unique though, wonder if users can customize the layout or maybe add videos too

So everyone is supposed to send messages and photos through yet another link, sounds cool for some moments but it's gonna be one more thing left unread in the digital clutter, who's really gonna open this when they can barely keep up with their existing 'memory' apps?

Cool idea, feels a bit gimmicky tho, how's it different from just a WhatsApp group where you can also share pics? Also, what if I don't want to share the link publicly, isn't there a risk of unwanted messages?

why not just use WhatsApp to share photos and messages, seems like yet another app to share memories, how does it stand out from all the others, do we really need this, maybe adding a way to print the memories would make it more unique, also what about storage limits, curious if you considered that

Came across this thingy while scrolling through ads, not sure about this idea, seems kinda pointless to me, why not just send WhatsApp messages or use a shared Google doc, not really convinced, but it might work for some folks who enjoy this kind of digital keepsake stuff I guess 🤷‍♂️

I'm not sure we need yet another "memory keeper", feels a bit like overkill doesn't it, but maybe the magic is in how personal it can get, let's see how it goes
