Bipper is a widget-first social audio app for close friends. Send a 10-second voice message with one tap, and hear new Bipps right from your Home Screen widget — without opening the app. No followers, no feed, no public posts. Just quick voice moments with your people.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built Bipper because most messaging apps have become places where every small interaction turns into a full conversation, a feed, or another notification to deal with.
Bipper is deliberately much smaller. You choose a close circle of people, hold to record up to 10 seconds, optionally add an emoji, and send. The other person can even hear the Bipp from the Home Screen widget without opening the app.
There are no followers, likes, public posts, captions, or infinite feeds. Received Bipps stay around for 48 hours and then disappear from the history.
My goal was to make voice communication feel more like quickly saying something to someone next to you than sending another message.
Bipper is live on the App Store now. I’d really love feedback on the idea, onboarding, and especially whether the widget changes how you use it with close friends.

Who hunted Bipper?
Bipper was hunted by Andriy Zherebyatyev. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
