Finally gave this a try on a stack of old receipts and the OCR pulled out the text surprisingly cleanly, even on faded thermal paper. Nice to have everything stay on the device with no account nonsense.
The local-first + OCR combo is exactly what I want for personal docs — no subscription and everything staying on-device is a great privacy stance. Searchable PDFs from paper scans is a genuinely useful workflow. Congrats on the launch!
