Why I built this:
I own a lot of books. Getting the useful material into agent-ready format—SKILL.md plus chapter references—is the hard part before Claude or Codex can help. I wanted that conversion to stay on my device.
What Bindlore does:
Books and docs you own → SKILL.md with chapter references, built on-device in Chrome. Free. No account for convert. No Bindlore cloud for your book content.
What's intentional:
- DRM refused on purpose (converter, not a cracker)
- Optional AI extras only with *your* API key (OpenAI/Anthropic)—browser → provider, not through Bindlore
- Export formats: AI Skill, Markdown, Word, or plain text
- On-device parsing, OCR, and conversion
