Most auction snipers are eBay tools with ShopGoodwill bolted on, and they break whenever the site changes. BidPulse is purpose-built for ShopGoodwill. What that means in practice: •Bids at 6 seconds out, late enough to skip the war, early enough to land. •One dashboard for every auction you watch, not a tab per item. • Email and SMS the moment you are outbid or you win. • A max bid calculator so you know your number before you commit. • A public Leaderboard and Weekly Wins highlights

Hey Product Hunt, Jeff here. Like most software, I built this to scratch my own itch: I kept loosing ShopGoodwill auctions by seconds. The one that broke me was a camera I'd been tracking for a week. I was in a meeting when it ended, and got beaten by four dollars. ShopGoodwill has no real auction management tooling, no sniping, and search that fights you. Every tool I found was focused on eBay with ShopGoodwill bolted on, or an abandoned OSS project. Most of them broke constantly, so I built the thing I wanted: set a max bid, walk away, get a text when you win. It started as a Python script and evolved to what you see today. The part that surprised me is that the tool doesn't just save time, it saves money. Bidding early tells everyone else the item is worth fighting over. Bidding in the last few seconds skips an escalating bidding war entirely. It's live with paying subscribers, and I'm actively building more features. We publish a category Leaderboard and Weekly Wins derived from real auctions by real users. I'll be around all day answering everything. Fire away!

Who hunted BidPulse?

BidPulse was hunted by Jeff Costa. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
