This started in church. I wanted a quick way to save a Bible verse with a short thought, but every app I found either required an account, synced to a cloud, or felt too heavy for what I needed.
My reflections on scripture are personal. I didn't want them on someone else's server. So I built Bible Notes, a local-first PWA where everything stays on your device. No sign-up, no sync, nothing sent anywhere.
