I built this new age social media platform product because:
- Traditional social media is filled with AI videos and humans find it hard to distinguish real vs fake. On Bharat Ki App, users can only upload videos captured via GPS video camera feature inside Bharat Ki App.
- Instagram / Facebook / twitter allows false propagandas spread by bot accounts, resurfacing old videos for views and heavy mis information. On Bharat Ki App, phone number is mandatory to create an account and only 1 account per phone number is allowed.
- Traditional social media also hosts hate speech and does very less to avoid them, rather use them for engagement. On Bharat Ki App, we have strict community guidelines that can ban the user temporarily or permanently. User has to get a new phone number every time to create a new account which is not feasible.
- Algorithms are designed for dopamine dose switching between range of emotions which takes away the seriousness around genuine civic issue. On Bharat Ki App, there is only 1 emotion and content is limited to Educative information, News and Civic Reviews.
- Traditional social media does not push feeds to hyper local audience and rather expects content creators to buy advertisements on the platform. On Bharat Ki App, the entire idea is to join and grow local communities, there is no traditional followers/following feature.
