I got frustrated when major diet apps started putting their barcode scanners behind expensive paywalls and ignoring the dangers of ultra-processed foods. So, I built a better one for free.
BetterBite is a web app that doesn't just track your calories—it scans barcodes against 2,500+ FDA and EU chemical additives, flags NOVA 4 ultra-processed foods, and provides 1-tap cleaner ingredient swaps. We even built a dedicated GLP-1 Companion Mode to help people on Ozempic/Wegovy hit their strict protein floors.
