Every football prediction site works the same way: a tip wins, it gets a screenshot; it loses, it disappears. "90% accuracy" and nothing to check it against.
I wanted the opposite, so I built BetBrothers AI.
Six AI models get the same brief for every match: form, head-to-head, table, injuries and the market's odds. Each writes a full preview and picks the winner, correct score, both teams to score and total goals, with a confidence number. The pick is locked before kickoff and scored after the final whistle. Nothing is edited or deleted.
What surprised me after 2,600 scored matches:
• Only one model beats the market over the last 30 days: Gemini, 55% correct and +2% on 676 picks.
• Backing the favourite is right 70% of the time and still loses. "Accuracy" alone means nothing.
• The most expensive model was mid-table. The three cheapest ones are the best.
• The models are clearly better at goals markets (both teams to score, over/under) than at picking the winner.
• One model was worst in six sports out of seven. It's retired now, and its page with the full record stays up. That's the point.
