Best Fit
A leaderboard for your exact job, not for everything.
Describe the job in plain English and Best Fit builds a leaderboard just for it, weighting the published benchmarks that matter, plus price, speed and the right reasoning setting. "Count the squirrels on every frame from my wildlife camera", "code locally on a 32GB MacBook", "animate my kid's drawing": each gets its own ranking. Rebuilt daily, with an MCP server so your coding agent stops recommending last year's models. Free.
Hi, I'm Tom. I run a kids' Tech Camp and build AI tools on the side. Every week I hit the same question: which model should I actually use for this? Leaderboards answer "which is best at everything", and that's rarely the question.
Best Fit builds a leaderboard for your exact job: it reads your sentence, works out which published benchmarks matter, and does the maths. Sometimes the answer is "use the famous model, but at its lowest setting". The language understanding runs on Jev from TypeSafe, which keeps it fast and cheap enough to be free.
It's Hypership day, so tell me what's missing. And if you disagree with your leaderboard, paste its share link in the comments: I'll fix it if I can and relaunch today. Try something odd: mine was squirrels 🐿️

Who hunted Best Fit?
Best Fit was hunted by Tom Ward. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
