The idea came from a simple frustration: I wanted to give a friend a share of Apple as a birthday gift. What followed was three days of paperwork, phone calls with my broker, and eventually just giving up and sending cash.
Turns out gifting stock is shockingly hard — even between two people with brokerage accounts. And if the recipient doesn't have one? Forget it.
So we built Beestow. Pick any stock, set an amount, send a link. The recipient gets the value via their bank or a supported brokerage (Fidelity, Schwab, E*TRADE, Vanguard, and more). No account required on their end. The whole thing takes about 60 seconds.
