BeepBack started as an accident. In July 2026 we spent two days calling 133 plumbing shops across New Jersey to introduce ourselves. What we accidentally ran was a field study of how often anyone picks up: a person ever answered at 23 of 133 shops, about 1 in 6. Ours were sales calls, so read that as a floor on reachability, but the pattern was hard to unsee: a missed call is usually a customer moving on to the next shop. BeepBack fixes the half of that software can fix. When a call goes unanswered, it texts the caller back in seconds, in the business’s own name, from a local number registered to that business. It asks what the job is, how soon, and where, then hands the owner a lead sorted by urgency, with alerts by text, by email, and in the app. Repeat calls land in the same thread, a caller who never replies gets one reminder and nothing after it, and STOP always works.
