I built BeeMint because I’m exactly the kind of person who could never stick to budgeting apps.
I’d try expense trackers, spreadsheets, even apps where you scan receipts… but I’d always forget, get distracted, or stop after a few days. Logging every purchase felt like homework.
I also had subscriptions everywhere and barely knew what I was paying for.
As a developer, whenever something feels broken, I want to build a better solution myself.
So I asked a simple question:
