Hello everyone! I'm excited to tell you about BearyStronk, a casual fitness app that I hope will make a small positive difference in your health as you build your dream products. Why I made this As life gets busier I've found it hard to have a consistent workout routine and so have gotten by just squeezing in scattered exercise daily e.g. push-ups or sit-ups. It seems to be a common pattern amongst friends and colleagues so I made this to help guide folks who might not have a structured workout routine but would still like to try and exercise daily. How will it help The app focuses on reducing procrastination stemming from not knowing what to do, by offering short format workouts which can be paused / resumed for pockets of free time throughout the day e.g. 12 push-ups now but continue workout later. Where more time can be committed, you can also plan a full week of custom workouts or take on a 1 - 4 week challenge. The goal is not to complete everything but to try and do something at least! What makes it unique BearyStronk prioritises the solo experience but has also support for proper group challenges so that you can some fun competing with your family, friends and colleagues. The app starts out light and casual with silly things like shareable certificates when you complete challenges but is also suitable for users with serious longer term goals with visible physical changes. You can create and store progress pictures where privacy is of top concern here - progress pictures taken with the app are not available for viewing in your default gallery app, are blurred by default to reduce oopsie situations and never leave your phone (exception - read public journals below). Progress pictures are: 1. Stored locally in your phone, not backed up to our servers by default 2. Can be stitched into side by side comparison pictures 3. Can be organised into albums for specific topic / body part organisation 4. Can be shared entirely as a fitness transformation journey as a mini blog page when marked explicitly to be public Check out the app store links for a full list of features such as workout mode, exercise logs etc. Thank you for reading I hope this small preview of what you can do with the app interests you and that you would take some time to try it out as I'd love to get some feedback to make it even better. Please let me know if there are any questions I can help with but otherwise take care of your health as you hustle to deliver :)

The features in this app, like the challenges and progress tracking, have made working out much more fun for me and my friends.

Saw this app from an ad, tried it out but honestly its a bit meh, also why not have options for different fitness levels, don't get the point of the progress pics either they feel like unnecessary clutter, wondering if other users find it useful or just me

Love the concept, @bearystronk! The struggle is real when it comes to fitting exercise into a busy schedule. Your approach to short workouts feels like the perfect solution for all of us trying to balance work and fitness. The idea of having fun with friends while pushing each other sounds great too! I can see how the “no pressure” vibe will make it easier for folks to stick with it. Plus, privacy for my progress pics? Genius! Excited to check it out and join a few challenges. Let’s crush those goals! 💪

Hey @bearystronk! BearyStronk sounds like the perfect solution for those of us who struggle to fit fitness into our hectic lives. It’s like trying to find time to cook a proper meal when takeout is so easy! With short workouts that can be done in between tasks, you’re making it so much easier to prioritize health without the overwhelm. Can’t wait to try it out and challenge some friends! 💪🐻

Oh yeah! A fitness app? Now we're talking! I love the wow-factor. It's sensible and considers the user. Would you like to work together? I see a lot of potential.

I get that you're aiming for quick and easy but honestly this feels way too basic and boring, who wants to do 12 push-ups here and there, if I want real results I need something more challenging, also not sure how secure those progress pics are, feels risky

I get the whole idea of being too busy for gym time but this app almost feels like it's trying too hard to be everything at once, the group challenge bit is cool but do people really want to get shareable certificates for doing push-ups, also, the privacy with progress pictures sounds good but I can't help but wonder if that's enough to make folks switch from what they're already used to.

Looks fun! It would be great if it could integrate with social networks right away.

Hey klin, BearyStronk looks awesome! Love the idea of squeezing in quick workouts throughout the day. The privacy features for progress pics are a smart touch too. Quick question - have you thought about integrating with smartwatches or fitness trackers? Could be cool for auto-tracking those mini-sessions. Also, any plans for a social feed where friends can share their silly certificates? Might add some extra motivation! Keep up the great work, can't wait to give it a try! 💪🐻

Hey there, I get that you're aiming for fitness on the go, but I'm wondering if users might get bored with the simpler routines, also is there a way to make it more competitive to keep folks engaged, maybe more real-time leaderboards or something?

Honestly, it's a cool idea but not seeing much new here, reminds me a lot of stuff like Nike Training Club or 7 Minute Workout, they also offer quick at-home routines and challenges, privacy on progress pics is nice tho, how about adding a feature to sync with smartwatches or fitness trackers, could make it more appealing, also, why not add more interactive or gamified elements to keep folks engaged?

Love the idea of challenging friends to get fit without ever leaving the comfort of my den. Here's to hoping the workouts are as 'pawsome' as they sound! 🐻💪. Good Luck:)

Excited to try BearyStronk, @klin! The flexibility of short workouts fits my life perfectly. The group challenges sound like a great way to stay motivated with friends. Any chance you’ll be adding nutrition tips or meal plans in the future to complement the fitness routines?

Sounds interesting but not sure how effective home routines are without the right guidance feels like anyone can make an app with random workouts it's not a gym replacement, guess we'll see how it does 🚀

So, I get the idea of this fitness app, but isn't it just another home workout thing, what makes it different from the others, also how about some more advanced routines for those who want to push a bit further? I'd be curious to see a community feature or something where people can share their own workouts and progress, what do others think on this?
