Bear Drop is a free browser-based collectible game built around original designer bears with distinct factions, personalities, rarities, and styles. Players can collect characters, build a Dream Team, trade cards, vote in themed battles, complete challenges, earn tickets, and chase limited-edition drops — all without downloading an app. No crypto. No NFTs. Just a free collectible game with bold characters, live drops, and a little chaos.
I built Bear Drop because collecting used to feel fun, social, and a little obsessive — and I wanted to bring that feeling back in a way that feels current.
A lot of digital collecting either became overly complicated, tied to crypto, or stopped feeling like a game. Bear Drop is intentionally different: it’s free, browser-based, easy to jump into, and built around original characters people can actually get attached to.
The bears themselves are my original designs. I’ve been developing their names, looks, factions, personalities, rarities, styling, and overall visual world so they feel like real collectible characters rather than generic game assets.
I also wanted players to have more to do than just “own” something, so the experience includes drops, trading, Dream Teams, battles, challenges, tickets, and limited-edition characters. The idea is that every week there’s something new to chase, debate, trade, or show off.
This is still early, and I’m especially interested in feedback on the collection loop, trading, battles, and what would make you come back for the next drop.
