BeamDrop turns your iPhone into a local file server so any PC or Mac browser can download photos and videos instantly. No cable, no cloud, no account, and no desktop app. Pick files in BeamDrop, open the local URL on your computer, then download one by one or all at once. Works on Wi-Fi or Personal Hotspot. Transfers stay on your local network for privacy.
Hi Product Hunt, I’m the maker of BeamDrop.
I built BeamDrop because sending photos from iPhone to Windows PC is still annoying: cables are clunky, cloud sync is slow, and many tools require sign-in.
BeamDrop runs a tiny local web server on iPhone, so your PC can receive files directly in a browser. No cloud relay, no account, no extra desktop app.
I focused on three things:
Speed: pick and transfer in seconds
Simplicity: open one URL and download
Privacy: local network transfer only
If you try it today, I’d love feedback on:
first-time setup clarity
transfer reliability across different network setups
what file workflows you want next
Thanks for checking out BeamDrop.
