Bay is a beautiful, fast browser for Mac: spaces, a sidebar of pinned tabs and folders, Peek, Split View and ads blocked out of the box, on Chrome’s engine.
I really loved Arc. Its design, its little details, and the way it reimagined browsing made it feel like more than just a browser. So, seeing it no longer actively maintained by the team was genuinely sad.
I tried switching to other browsers, but none of them quite captured what made Arc special. I missed the thoughtful UI, the smooth UX, and all those little features that made browsing feel delightful.
So, I decided to build Bay.
A browser inspired by what made Arc special, with a familiar UI, thoughtful UX, and most of the features I loved about Arc — while keeping things fast, lightweight, and beautiful.
I built Bay because I missed having a browser I genuinely loved using. And I figured, maybe others who miss Arc would love it too.
If you loved Arc as much as I did, I'd love for you to give Bay a try. I'd really appreciate your feedback!
Built with love for everyone who misses Arc.

Who hunted Bay?
Bay was hunted by Krish Kalaria. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
