Batch Merge
Turn Google Sheets rows into personalized PDFs and docs
Generate personalized PDFs, DOCX files, and Google Docs from Google Sheets data. Automate document merges with templates, email delivery, and scheduling. Free Google Workspace add-on.
Hey Product Hunt! I built Batch Merge because everydocument merge tool I tried felt like overkill for asimple job: take rows in a Google Sheet, push them trough a Google Docs template, get PDFs back. Batch Mrge is one sidebar. Pick your template, and it showsyou which {{tags}} match your columns before you runanything. Hit merge and you get one PDF (or DOCX, orDoc) per row, plus a per-row status and a merge log.The free plan does 25 merge runs a month with no car. I'd love feedback, especially from teachers and op folks who batch generate certificates, invoices, orletters every week.
Love how clean the Google Sheets template binding is, makes merging feel native instead of bolted on. Nice work on keeping it as a simple add-on with no extra login required.
The merge preview inside Sheets before you hit send is such a thoughtful touch. Most tools just fire off the emails and hope for the best.
